The HPE FlexNetwork 5510 HI Switch Series is a family of Gigabit Ethernet switches that provide exceptional resiliency, security, and multiservice support at the edge layer of the data center, broad campus, and metro Ethernet networks. The switches can also be found in SMB networks' core layer. The HPE FlexNetwork 5510 HI Series Switch can provide the highest levels of resiliency and manageability thanks to Intelligent Resilient Fabric (IRF) support and dual power supplies.

With the dual power supply configuration, the PoE+ models can deliver up to 1440 W of PoE+ power. These switches can have up to six 10 GbE uplink ports and have four fixed 10GbE ports. They also provide additional modular uplinks. The series protects your investment while allowing for a seamless transition from IPv4 to IPv6 networks, thanks to features like IPv4/IPv6, OpenFlow, and MPLS/VPLS.
