The switch is supplied with a USB Type A to DC cable for power which can be attached to a second USB port or to a power supply. Please note: the length of connected USB Type C cables must not exceed 1m. Information about USB 3.0, 3.1 & 3.2 USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface.
